We often get asked these questions about weekly meal prep services, so we hope this is helpful!
Can you accommodate specific dietary restrictions/allergies?
YES. And actually, Leaf and Loaf was built on the philosophy that Food Is Medicine. Food can Hurt us but food can also Heal us. Chef Sue has her own food challenges and is very knowledgeable about allergies, intolerances and a variety of ways of eating. Her experiences make her work that much more compassionate and helpful, as she also has her own food journeys.
What is your pricing structure?
All services are customized, but to give you an idea of starting points, there are three plans you can choose from. If you want to add a snack or another side or if you just want entrees, we can take care of that! If you are one person or you have six in your home, we can accommodate food quantities and pricing based on your needs. PRICING
Prices include
• the Chef’s Fee = the Chef’s time for creating a custom menu each week, shopping, preparing your amazing food and cleaning the kitchen
• a Pantry Fee = includes spices, sanitary gloves, cleaning products
• Grocery Costs = these are passed along to the client
How do you create menus and can I customize them?
Based on your food preferences questionnaire, I will create a custom menu for your home each week. It will include all the ingredients for each meal, and you have the option to switch out any of them.
Where do you source your ingredients?
While we would love to source all ingredients locally and direct from farms and farmer’s markets, it’s just not possible. I shop on the way to the client’s house, at higher end grocery stores, which offer many organic ingredients. I choose the freshest, cleanest, most beautiful and most delicious ingredients available.

Can we use your meal prep services one time?
These services are set up to be a weekly service. You will invest in glass containers for this amazing food and that works best as a longer term service. We do offer service for a few weeks at a time, if someone needs to learn new ways to eat due to a diagnosis, or if they are recovering from a surgery. We can help!
Are we bound by a contract?
While we do require a signed contract, it is just to confirm the logistics and dietary needs. This is a very personal decision and we enter it with the idea that we will be long-term partners on this health journey. If either party decides it is just not a good fit or the services are no longer needed, we simply part ways. Everything has its season.

Families generally enjoy the meals stored family style, but some clients prefer individual portions. These clients each have their own dietary needs due to allergies, portion sizes and food preferences. The containers are color coordinated so each client knows which containers they can enjoy. The glass containers seal out the air, keeping food fresher and longer. They eat these over the next six days and then Leaf and Loaf returns the following week to refill the fridge with a new assortment of breakfasts, lunches and dinners!
